I need You’re askin’ for a Baskin shirt At that young of an age it’s kinda normal I went thru the same my daughter is 4 and my son is 1 now generally in the first 6 months or so they’re pretty attached to mom and you can try and everything but sometimes they are just latched to mom my kids and I are great now but for like the first 6 months my son only wanted mom. The connection and bond will happen. It’s not some magic spell-like people think. It takes time. Some longer than others. Especially for dads who aren’t bonding for 9 months in the womb beforehand.

Honestly she is probably right. I’m way more connected to my 3 yo than my You’re askin’ for a Baskin shirt It’s not my fault it’s not the baby’s fault. I work a lot of hours and haven’t spent as much time with him yet. As we spend more time together our bond grows. Then he wants mommy and I get bummed out but you get used to it. I remember feeling bad that I couldn’t spend more time with my 1st born, and wished he would take care of the baby, so that I could have time with #1. Try trading a day – or 1/2 day – let her play with the older one, while you spend time with the baby.
